Strayfield Gallery was founded in 2019 by art collector and dealer Rune Meelsen, is located in Copenhagen, Denmark and Miami USA.

The gallery showcases the work of younger and experienced mid-career European artists who work in a variety of mediums, including painting, photography, sculpture, and conceptual art.

At Strayfield Gallery, we aim to present art that engages and challenges our visitors intellectually, with a focus on social commentary and satire. As the motto of the Royal Danish Theatre states, "Not just for amusement."

The name Strayfield is inspired by the idea of venturing into the limitless artistic freedom of the field, where art can provoke thought on deeper, existential questions and educate the viewer.
